Un examen histologique positif est n\u00e9cessaire pour \u00e9tablir avec certitude le diagnostic d\u2019amylose. En cas d\u2019examen histopathologique n\u00e9gatif, on ne peut exclure la maladie car les d\u00e9p\u00f4ts amylo\u00efdes ont une distribution al\u00e9atoire. L\u2019\u00e9quipe m\u00e9dicale pourra alors \u00eatre amen\u00e9e \u00e0 r\u00e9it\u00e9rer les biopsies (dans le m\u00eame organe ou s\u2019orienter vers d\u2019autres). En cas d\u2019amylose av\u00e9r\u00e9e, la r\u00e9alisation d\u2019examens compl\u00e9mentaires est n\u00e9cessaire pour : pr\u00e9ciser le type d\u2019amylose quantifier les atteintes neurologiques, cardiaques ou r\u00e9nales. suivre l\u2019\u00e9volution de la
